"We are different”

YOUNG CHILDREN LEARN BEST

THROUGH PLAY, IMITATION AND REPETITION

An innovative learning program developed specifically for pre- school children

Our pool is transformed into an underwater playground with:
  1. climbing frames

  2. underwater platforms

  3. a wide range of toys and inflatable aids

We encourage your child's natural curiosity, and this motivates them to participate

Children are challenged to develop skills that are the basis of swimming and understanding safe water practices

Our instructors facilitate your child’s learning of swimming skills through a logical progression:
  1. independent mobility and buoyancy skills

  2. propulsion

  3. breathing

Every activity further develops your child’s understanding of moving more safely in water

Our classes help your child develop the skills and understanding to set them up for a lifetime of more safely loving and enjoying the water

Swimming lessons are not a substitute for proper barriers and supervision.

The skills learnt, however, do add a significant additional layer of protection.

My first Swimming Lesson’ is a children’s book  designed to introduce pre school children and their parents to swimming lessons. The swim school recommends reading this book to your child a number of times before lessons commence. The book can purchased at the swim school. The swim school will loan the book for a short period to new pre school before their first lesson at no charge (if not returned within 2 weeks there will be a $10 charge).

Children who have read this book before starting lessons, adapt more easily to classes.
