Would you or some-one you know like to teach swimming?

Are you interested in swimming? Would you like to know more? Do you like working with children? Are you enthusiastic, prepared to work hard, flexible  and willing to learn?

Maybe teaching swimming would suit you.

Over the years we have recruited swim teachers from parent sitting pool side watching their children learn; from past students who have progressed through our programs; from students at Tertiary education; from mums looking for part time work; from retired workers looking for work with children; from school teachers looking for extra income. We are looking for people who enjoy working with children and enjoy water.

What qualifications do you need?

If you are looking for work with our swim schools you can gain your nationally accredited qualifications through our swim schools.

You will need a Swim Australia Teacher of Swimming or equivalent (Austswim) as a minimum qualification along with a Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation, CPR, and a working with children check.

How do I proceed if I am interested?

By email or talk to our reception staff at the pool.

Teaching swimming is really rewarding. It is a fun activity in a fun environment. Watching the children progress not only in their swimming ability but also their willingness to try new skills, their ability to listen, their ability to relate to others, their ability to cope with change and to share with them their small successes and at times their failure is great fun.

Both swim schools are always searching for great teachers
